This build required a sensitiveintervention to ensure consistency and continuity between old & new. The works centered around the reconfiguration of spaces to yield improved access to a new enlarged northern yard, upper floor deckinterlinking remodeled sleeping areas to take advantage of the idyllic setting and the improve function of the kitchen and bathrooms.

 

Materials are simple and refined with crisp white rendered walls capped in robust zinc roofing, giving way to subtle timber accents and textured furnishing internally.

 

The result is a minimal, classic home with clean lines and captivating views over Sydney heads.
